This robot has no gyroscopes for balancing as in most developed countries. It uses an innovative “Constrainment” technique pioneered at Artec. The wonder is that most developed countries use 6 legs, this Ant Robot built at Artec uses just 4 legs and in fact balances on 2 legs as a part of the requirements of “Gait” like any 4-legged natural creature like Horses, Dogs…….. This was developed by a group of 6 Undergrad. Engineering students under the guidance of D.Ramakrishna Naidu at Artec. |
