axes with either a vacuum pick up, a reciprocating cutter (Garment
industry) or a power tool, viz. screw driver (for mechanical assembly).
Here, a normal Artec combined 3-axis mounted gripper is shown
as applicable to Laboratory use in picking up test tubes or even
radioactive sample carriers. This type of robot is ideal for handling
a large number of sample carriers and sorting into categorized
arrays.
