Sliding Door
	This is an animation to show the rapid action of “Closing” and “opening” of the slats enclosing the side deck space with stealth features on a ship. This side deck can house a life boat with robotic arms (in lieu of Davits), for “launching” and “retrieving” Lifeboats safely even in very bad weather (or even in a severe list of the ship-on either side). The same enclosure can act as a side hangar for heavy helicopters being handled by TARDAMS for “launching” and “retrieving”, even in heavy seas and also in the event of ship disablement/adverse listing conditions. The sliding doors can be operated in both directions in two “Modes” viz. a) MOTOR and b) MANUAL. The openings’ dimensions can be as large as 20 metres length, 3 to 4.5 metres width, having 2, 3 or 4 slats. They are robust enough for blast or gale forces and will operate effortlessly in any dynamical attitude of the ship at sea.
