Structural Engineering
The STRUCTURE DESIGN program enables the evolution
of a top-down design of steel structures to support process plant
and equipments such as Boilers and Mineralogical plants. These
structures are of simply supported type, taking into account combinational
loading for the design of beams and columns and also accounting
for seismic (Earthquake) and wind loading conditions. The user
gets detailed 2D drawings along with Bill-of-Materials and Material
list besides Estimation and Costing outputs.
Process Engineering
Steam generating plants are very important constituents
of many process industries, not only for providing process heating
requirements but also for the generation of power. As such, the
BOILER DESIGN program generates the total design of integrated
boiler plants taking into account the performance requirements.
Starting with the Coal bunker (Fuel feeder system) through to
the Chimney(s) and every thing else in between including the selected
Combustors and their associated furnaces along with Dust collectors
and so on. Various individual modules within the package can also
be used separately. These are the THERMAL DESIGN module, the PIPE
ROUTING module and the STRUCTURAL module. Approximately, 600 interlinked
drawings are generated with their associated reports.
